Winter time is the time to go around and remove nests in areas of concern.
If it isn't an area of concern like right above my door then I leave them alone.
Yellow jackets and red wasps are highly abundant in my area.
Mud dobbers are everywhere also.
For some reason they wont build nests on sky blue paint as much.
Maybe they think it is the sky.
My garage ceiling is sky blue for this reason.
