I grew yellow brandywine here a few years ago and is the best tasting yellow I've ever had. It's too late for my area so was a poor producer here the few fruits it had were memorable. in Florida I'm sure it would do better

Lol, Jeff! I was going to say that one but I guess you'd know it a little better than I would, lol!

I want to throw our a few more names of varieties that I love. I grow a lot of oranges as that I what I like to use for my tomato juice. T C Jones, Maylor Roth, Peaches and Cream are on my always grow list, alone with Kelloggs and SOO. I remember liking Summer Cider, but somehow haven't gotten into the lineup lately.

I have grown a limited amount of yellows and oranges so here they are and my thought:
Caseys Pure Yellow - in the ground now and a beautiful plant with lots of tomatoes growing. I planted late and have shade problems so none of my non cherries are ripe yet. Dr. Wyche: a perennial fav for taste but 3-5 late (huge) tomatoes represent bad production. Jubilee: I grew it last year and it was a gamer! Lots of productivity and nice taste too. Yellow Pear: hugely productive but anoyingly late for a cherry. I've grown some nice bi-colours but this is more reds and oranges. I have Kellogg's Breakfast in this year but neither has tomatoes yet so I doubt that will work out for me this year. Pete

I didn't list any bicolors at all, as I noted in my post above b'c I thought we were to list just varieties that were shades of yellow and shades of orange. Oh well. Carolyn

Thinking about thiswhite generally turn yellow so they may belong hefe as well. I have Coyote and Blanche Du Quebec growing now and both are productive. I have also grown White Queen that was a good and fairly productive 8-10 ouncer as I recall.

For those who like Yellow Brandywine, Orlov Yellow is earlier, more productive and better tasting than Yellow Brandywine IMHO

My two orange varieties this year are Moonglow & S.O.O. Both are decent producers with the better tasting for me being S.O.O.. Going to try both types of Orange Minsk for next year.

It was KBX, now Orange Minsk. Early, productive and tasty. Brandy Platfoot was tasty, slightly better than OM, but late and less productive in SD. KBX is a yearly.
Orange Minsk was new to me his year and great ( but this was a great year weatherwise for growing tomatoes). Aunt Gerties was good, but not very many fruits per plant. But Lucky Cross is even better, albeit a bicolor. IMHO.
