If you get late afternoon shade, that would be plus, as it will be plenty hot in June - October. The amount of daylight increases by about a minute a day. As the sun gets closer to directly overhead, you will get more light. My fence runs north/south. Gets plenty of light all day.

gained a foot in 9 days so I think Im allright. this area should recieve morning sun and some late afternoon shade so hopefully it will work out as a good spot.
