I grew Bloody Butcher last year and it's quoted as 55 days. I didn't record the dtm that I experienced but it has great flavor (my opinion)! I loved these little fruit last year and I would quarter them and dip them in ranch dressing ...
I also had fruit from George Detsikas Italian Red early last year. This year I'm hoping Uluru Ochre can be somewhat early for me, looking at Tatiana's tomatobase Craig says he had dtm of 65 days but then in Wisconsin it was midseason... Al |

My earliest tomato by a stretch here was black krim. Not sure how it managed that but I think it set outdoors in January on one of the 75 degree days.

I planted several so-called EARLY varieties ( Bloody Butche, Stupice, Matina, Early Treat, Siletz )
BB and Siletz were neck and neck. But I stick w/ Siletz and stop growing the rest. To me they were about large cherry size, and not that early either. But Silletz gives me fruits 5 to 10 oz range. It is also a det. that keeps fruiting all season long. The othere were crazy indeterminants growing like bean. |
