Dug up my garlic bed a couple of days ago. All very good sized heads with streaky purple color. I've forgotten what kind it is but I love garlic and eat it every day; it is always good. Also, boysenberries and strawberries.

Just ate a caprese salad with basil & tomatoes I grew. Harvesting chiles, tomatoes & basil by the fistfuls (I grow 4 kinds) and my limes are sizing up, still picking lemons. My season is nearly done, time to plant shallots and start seedlings for the fall is coming up.

I have picked two tomatoes from a Patio plant; 3rd and 4th are blushing today. Creole just staring to blush. Eggplants budding/blooming, cucumbers budding/blooming, blue lake green beans just started making.

Kale and lettuce. Lots of lettuce!

And within the next couple of days, the garlic scape harvest will begin.

I'm impressed! You've all accomplished so much and it's still early for most of us. Those peas are beautiful! I'll bet I could grow those on my balcony.

Just herbs. I was late planting and didn't plant any cool weather stuff. Our strawberries got eaten by chickens and need to be moved this fall. The tomatoes are only 2 feet high or less, just starting to set a few fruit. Squash and beans only up a couple of weeks.
We will probably eat some baby amaranth leaves today or tomorrow, that will be our first real vegetable from the garden this year.
I didn't harvest asparagus this year since I just planted the crowns last spring but did still a couple of each type to taste.

We had pie cherries at market last week. They will be here for one more week. The blackberries are just ripening. There's a handful to eat, but not enough for market until next week.
