Hey all,
I put my plants in the ground yesterday.
8 Brandywine personal selection.
4 BW Sudduth
7 Earl's Faux
3 Grubbs MG
3 Brandy Boy
8 New Italian Heirloom
5 Brad's Blackheart
6 Cherokee Purple
3 Perssimon
2 Porterhouse
3 Stupice
2 Sungold

Usually people don't set out until March 15th here in Riverside CA. But this year I am pretty sure the frost is done. Like in Texas, planting earlier is better here do to the extreme heat of the summer. The weather was great yesterday and is predicted to continue in the ten day forcast(75-80+ in the day and 45-50+ at night). I will probably pick up a few different OP varieties when the local nursurey gets them in a few weeks. Good luck with your toms everbody.

Hey Vince, Did your seedling problem go away? Glad to hear you got them planted. Ami, runnin about 2 months behind you in plant out.

The seedlings I had kept looking worse, so I had transplant them into 8oz cups a week ago. After looking at the roots, I think gimme3 was right in that the cells I had them in were not getting enough air in the soil. I probably was overfertilizing too. After one week in the clear plastic cups I could see an explosion of healthy root growth. Now they're in the ground and look good, although a little small.
