I'm also pretty sure that Rutgers Select is VF and I know it differs from the current Rutgers, not the original which was indet, by only a few days in DTM, according to Linda at TGS.

The following Rutgers are listed in the SSE Yearbooks:

Rutgers, original bred by Campbell Soup CO, JTD X Marglobe in 1928, refined as Rutgers Improved, see below
Rutgers California Supreme
Rutgers F, NJ Ag Station
Rutgers Improved, probably same as VF, below
Rutgers PS-R
Rutgers Select, cv American Seeds, '97
Rutgers VF, refined by Rutgers Univ, 1943
