The strawberry harvest ends in my garden. In normal years, the harvest will only begin. I have two varieties with interesting names - Salsa and Rumba. On three beds I have harvested 15 kilos of strawberries this year. Next year in spring I want to try another four varieties, I buy Frozen seedlings (40 seedlings) in mid April.
Vladimír PS.: Tonic water I like, but only some (River tonic). It also has to be cooled, but I do not have a refrigerator in the garden. In this weather, all drinks are semi-warm. Even warmt beer can not be drunk. |

Yesterday I took a new camera in the garden to make some photos. Perhaps so many still remain on the tree. Maybe most of them fall and I'll put them on the compost. None of the friends are interested in them. On the second figure is a small tree with summer apples (the first crop). On the third one is my cucumber, the first harvest yesterday, today I loaded 6 glasses of 0.7 l. I wanted to go on, but it was on the display that I no longer had any free memory. Next time. until I buy a new memory card.

What kind of fruit is on the big tree? How sad that it will not get eaten. Can you take some to poor people, or to a church?

I am sorry. It's apricots, even the most delicious Velkopavlovická. In my neighborhood I do not know any poor people, I see only the homeless. which don 't have a apricots interest. They only want money for beer and other alcohol. Then the drunk rolls in the park in front of the shops. That the Church would take something like an apricot, I do not know. I would just like to say that Czech Republic is probably the most atheistic country in the world.

My wife has a lot of friends, so I harvest and wear it. At least I do not have to conserve anything anymore. We have 21 glasses of compote and 30 glasses of jam.
