I was very excited to finally track it down, even if only to see what it was supposed to look like (without any info about the tomato I was just determining ripeness based on feel). I really am harvesting the seeds with great care because there are so few per fruit and I would like to be able to swap and share them since I think this is a tomato that should be discovered broadly. Really excellent work with this one! |

I grew 4 of your varieties this year, 1 plant of each. They all got minor cold damage from a late localized frost mid-june (except Midnight Sun, which was two rows higher than the frost pocket), so it might have negatively affected earliness and production of some of them.
Polaris, Midnight Sun and True Colors got their first ripe fruit about 70-75 days after transplant. I harvested my first Taiga fruit starting to blush yesterday before rain, so this plant is quite late for me. It is only one plant and had been damage a little bit by frost early in the season, so I cannot draw conclusion from this and will have to try it again All fruits tested and tasted were great. I REALLY LOVE True Colors and Midnight Sun : great shape, great colors, great taste, seems resistant to cracking (I do not irrigate, so some varieties are cracking, but these tomatoes are doing good !). I liked Polaris, but I got much more production from Chernomor (Black Sea Man) and Pink Berkeley Tie-Dye. I may need another side-by-side comparison next summer. I'll try to post some pics of them soon. Thank you Karen for sharing your work and such great varieties ! |

DavidJ and KarenO, I am looking for early cherry and mid size for early dates for Upstate NY.
I sell to restaurants, our offerings are never early enough for them. Any suggestions? |

They are so beautiful. Karma Peach looks so much larger than the others.
Karma Pink was always a little larger than a ping pong ball for me. |
