I havent a problem with the coons someone else did mine are doing good but i did put the heads deep under the plants and have caged them which may help..Gizzard

Do the tomato roots even grow two feet down? Or are you counting on wicking during dry times to get the good stuff up to the root zone?

Tomato roots can easily grow 3-4 feet long.
