Default Hey Fred look what i found

I found your maters for sale in my small local organic market. Looks like lucky tiger, pink tiger, and green tiger made it in this commercial clamshell.

I recognize those! Were they mixed with other cherry tomatoes?

Interesting marketing. Our SoCal wholesaler sells them as "Baby Heirlooms", but it looks like those are from someone else.

How was the flavor? If the grower is in Pescadero, they must be growing in greenhouses.

In case you live in the Bay Area, and you are looking to escape the relatives on January 4th. We are providing the perfect excuse.

These are the other cherries they are mixed with. And here is a close up of the label. Your tomatoes were good but had a little bit of a hydroponic nutrient flavor on the end of it. Definitely not as good as in my garden but far better than other cherry tomatoes commercially for sale.

Ahhh... Pescadero in Baja California. Now that's completely different from the Pescadero near here that I was thinking about. I wonder if the taste you perceived was due to hydroponics, or something else.

My understanding is that most tomatoes from this region are grown in open fields.

I have a big breeding population growing near that area in Baja right now. I can't wait to visit them in February.

This is one of our better new cherry tomatoes. Unfortunately, it is still 2 years from general release.

Our Collaborating Members will get it sooner.

Wow, that looks just like the Dancing with Smurfs, Chang Li, and Pink German Egg that I mixed the Artisans with last year. I posted my mix on several forums. Maybe someone is copying me. If so, I am flattered

HI Fred, I also signed up for your Collaborating Membership. It's a great idea. Now I just need to figure out which tomatoes need to be removed to make room for your trials.

Thank you very much for signing up, Veneto. Can't you just remove some rose bushes or something?
