And do I need to send a second mailer for the return seeds or does Gary reuse the original?

Here is how I keep my kids from mixing up things: from the garden-Cherries go into cups with the name on the cup. Larger fruit have the name written on them, and they go on a paper towel with the name on it also. inside-if I ferment them the label stays with them, the fermenting/oxi cup stays on top of the named towel. after I wash them off the seeds go directly on the labeled towel. after a couple of hours I fold the towel so the seeds don't escape and tape it. I then let them dry like that for a few more weeks. But yea, kids are super annoying like that. Cats too. Save

I forgot today was a jerk's holiday, but I used the automated thing at the post office and plopped it into the mail. Wahoo!

I think I added myself to the wishlist now. Time to start bagging seeds.

I just mailed a 9.5 x 12.5 flat rate envelope (Bubble mailer) stuffed with thousands of tomato and pepper seeds for exactly $6.80. Sent USPS
Now that I have more time, I wrote the above to verify what it costs to mail one of the flat rate envelopes mentioned above. It was sort of strange going into the post office today - the first thing I saw was a table with a pile of the flat rate mailers before the service line began. The lady/clerk asked if there was anything hazardous in it - I told her thousands of tomato and pepper seeds. She laughed and said "Don't get it wet". If I'd like to send let's say 100 seeds of the same variety - do I send 10 packets with 10 seeds each or should I send 1 packet with 100 seeds ?

My bubble mailer is making it's short hop west at this very moment. Homework assignment number one is done!
Now I need to move on to assignment number two -- finish writing my Dwarf Project report and get it and my Dwarf seeds into another bubble mailer and off to NC. |
