All of my family says the name Pretty N Sweet fits them perfectly. They like eating them a lot. It is a nice looking plant too - perfect for containers or an ornamental bed.
To me, it's not a jalapeno it needs some heat/spice. Otherwise, it tastes very good. |

That’s fine if they are not hot. I have plenty of hot peppers.

I'm going to reply to this thread and another that I started with the same post.
If you and/or other family and friends don't like the heat/spice of peppers - grow some Pretty N Sweet, Nadapenos, Fooled You, Jimmy Nardello, and many others. When you watch your adult child and grandchildren eating them like they were candy, and your grandchild says I've eaten 8, can I have 4 more - I'll eat them slowly... That is why to grow them. |

Show up your peppers
Roper,
Those are some healthy looking peppers. They also look pretty advanced for the first of June. |

Fantastic Roper. Plants look healthy and pods set is great. Much more ahead than my grow season. I'm guessing that's the Espiritu Santo Red in the 3rd pic? |

This is Thai Bangkok. I finally grew it from ScottinAtlanta’s seed offer. A healthy plant and these peppers get pretty big I believe.

Really a pretty nice looking black pepper.Rumored to be similar in heat to Serrano.I also germinated 6 Ajvarski, but only 3 came up.They don't seem to be growing very fast...but at least they growing.Trying to harden off in the heat is a bugger tho.The smallest one never missed a beat and took to the heat without complaint. The larger of the 3 throws a tantrum within 15 min of being put in direct sunlight.

Pretty pepper tropical grower. Never heard of that variety.
I am harvesting ripe Espiritu Santo Red peppers. I have two pheno's. One rounded, which I believe is the right one, and another more elongated. The elongated one is hotter. I just put these in the dehydrated. |
