I do have a massive amounts of labels that fit on coin envelopes and many of those as well....if anyone has writers cramp. Or a 'poo-pile' of seed that need labels. I can make labels with all the info easily. Just not sure how to pay that forward. No problems sending those free postage if needed.
I also have about a 1/4 acre, maybe more, of Milkweed pods. Hundreds. I keep a bag of full pods in my car that i just let go on my commute to work this time of year. Not sure if anyone is interested. BigJim Hatch chili. ? It is a medium hot, great flavor as it does not kill with heat. 8-10 inches long. I ordered a box from NMexico. Not sure if i can grow it but saved lots of seed. Just roasted/smoked most of them last weekend. Rudbeckia? Lots of that. A good naturalizer and pollinator attracter. |

Oh, nothing fancy...just the common one. They took over my old garlic bed 10 yrs ago so i just hack up the edges in the Spring, pot them up, and donate to those that suffered storm Irene to re-build their gardens. (nearby towns on the lower lying rivers lost everything)

I have a pretty sweet farm. Very diverse with open field and back 40 is maples and forest. My main interest beyond the garden is ferns and mosses. I've sent them all over packed flat in small pizza boxes, lol.

Oakley, you have a beautiful farm and I would be interested in the Rudbeckia. Started working last year on incorporating plants and flowers that attract bees, beneficial insects, and butterflies(I fell in love with them after I visited the Butterfly exhibit at Henry Dorley zoo in Omaha a few years back.)

A couple of things I've meant to mention. One being that the first thing I remembered to do when I typed out my wish list page was to be sure that I put on that page the 5 people I sponsored.
The second thing is, yes, I'm waiting to see something posted by Tormato too. It is in my nature to worry about others. |

If there is interest in seeds of flowers for pollinators, I can send some in. My flowerbeds are exclusively dedicated to native plants.

Ok then, I'll pack up some seeds for the pollinators, and denote as such on the seed packs.

I offered to sponsor Annie at the other site that tormato has been known to include in swaps.

So... Still no word from Tormato? Maybe one of us should try snail-mailing him a note? Anyone know him personally?

I found a landline number for him and called. It's as we initially thought -- he's currently without internet access. He's fine, packages are rolling in, and he wants us to continue sending our seeds in. He had hoped it wouldn't take this long to get back online. He is going to try and pop in around the first of the month. |
