I liked Lucinda a lot. The flavor is very good and the striped GWR slicers sell surprisingly well at market. Customers seem to grasp that they are not unripe red tomatoes.

I had offered it in a seed offer, seeds initially from Fred, so when he needed seeds for it I sent back all I had left. I loved the carrot like foliage,Silvery Fir Tree is a parent, but for me the taste was too strong and no, I can't describe, for me,what too strong means. Carolyn

Looks awesome Fred. I like the idea of a long keeper Artisan.

We have a kickstarter project that runs between now and next Thursday.
Basically it is these 13 varieties for $25 New: Fuego Verde, Fuego Rosa, Taste Recent, still not widely known: Jazz, Orange Jazz, Marzano Fire Winners at Brussels Tomato Festival: Lucky Tiger, Blush, Maglia Rosa 4 things we love (bred by others): Cherokee Purple, Captain Lucky, Cherry Roma and Rebel Yell. Or pick 3 for $10 On another note, we are finally packing up the Marzano Fire/Orange Caprese seeds for our offer last spring. They will be going out, a few at a time over the next few weeks. Fuego Verde, Maglia Rose, Marzano Fire, Pink Bumblebee, Purple Bumblebee, Sunrise Bumblebee, Jazz, Orange Jazz, Spike, Fuego Rosa, Pink tiger, Indigo Apple, Green Bee were on my plant offerings this year, had about 10 of each variety and wish I'd had 20. They sold out the first day. Everyone loved the foliage of Spike, so I hope that the flavor is just as awesome. I had them together as a collection from Artisan Seeds with some info about the company and it's certainly paid off. Thanks for such great varieties.

Blush tomato
Hi Fred,
I ordered blush online and there is no information on how large this plant is. Would you recommend it for containers? They look like fabulous tomatoes! Thank you. |

Blush does pretty well in containers. But you can get better flavor out of a plant grown in the ground.
