Remy - Got my seeds yesterday and everything looks great! I thoroughly enjoy your website, and can't say enough good things about the way you run your business. Good seeds, good service, and plenty of information when needed. Thanks!!!

One question for you: Are the Roumanian Sweet peppers the same as Roumanian Rainbow? I've got my fingers crossed that they are

You're welcome .
Good question about the peppers. They look awful similar, shape and coloration, and are probably the same thing. That's the problem sometimes with OP/Heirloom seeds that they will have more than one name floating around.

Thanks Remy. I'll try to grow Roumanian Sweet alongside Roumanian Rainbow next year and we'll know for sure. Hoping it's the same...RR is early and prolific but I'm running low on seed and it's such a pain to bag the blossoms.

Thanks! We try to get them all out on a few days. Though that becomes more difficult in Feb.-March!

I just went to remy's site to take a look since I was interested as well with a name like that and she said plenty about it and why it was named what it was named and that's after a movie,

But if you want to know what that movie was about, here you go.

The only thing I can add to what Carolyn said is that Sorellina brought it to the 2013 Buffalo-Niagara Tastefest. She loved it and said you need to save seeds and grow it. So I did. She though it was Solar Flare as did the person who grew it and sent her seeds. It was when I posted a pic of my fruit on FaceBook that I was told it should have red flesh. I believe it was Fred Hempel who knew it was wrong. I would have never realized as Sorellina never realized it was wrong and probably the person who grew it before her, because the name Solar made us think yellow. I did contact Brad about it, but he was so busy with other stuff, and he never got back to me, probably not very high on his priority list.

Now I found it. It is listed under Not Solar Flare. I knew I read about it, but couldn't find where. Thanks.

Ohhh... I should move that as that's the position it was in last year.

Remy, my order arrived today. Did you send it via warp 6 or what? Very fast and two bonus varieties as well. Lady, you are a class act.

Thanks for such prompt service.

But, now I have to wait for a couple months to start seedlings.

Happy Holidays
