Worth,
I know this is your thread but these are random pictures so..... I love Black Cherry. To me it is the perfect cherry tomato. Larger than some but not too large, sweeter than some but not too sweet, and yummy sliced with salt and pepper. Ramdom tomatoes picture. Ginny |

This way you dont have to horn in on someone elses thread or start a new one to post a random picture. It is the sister thread to the Random Thoughts and Discoveries thread. Sort of like a tweet thread where you can just pop up and post anything and you dont have to stay on subject. By the way the tomatoes look great I have grown Black Cherry many times. Worth |

Black Cherry is my son's favorite. What are the other once on the picture? How do they taste? Can you post pictures of them sliced?
I have soft spot for back tomatoes, specially if they are PL.

Every time my wife eats one of these tomatoes - her face lights up and she says, "Wow". Now I have to learn how to say, "Oranje Van Goeijenbier".

It is dutch and the j has a y sound and the Beir is beer sound. Dutch is sort of a cross between English and German from what a guy from Austria told me. Oranye (orange) Van (of) Go-eeyen-beer persons name. Worth Last edited by Worth1; June 12, 2015 at 09:10 PM. |

O man, this pictures make me hungry. I have store bought tomatoes in the refrigerator but they are not... I am going to make some salad, in salad they will do ok. Nice pictures, Ginny. Thanks for the info too.

It does ripen to a yellow orange, so I could call it, Orange Van Go-Jen-Beer.
HA - made me think, Orange Jan go get me a beer. |

Bringen Beir Fraulien is what you would tell your wife.
I use to do this to my wife all of the time. |

Walked by these and thought that's funny, they could begin and end in the same dish!
I do like roasted taters. Pulls on the left, tubers pushing up more on the right. |
