I have highly underestimated the time it takes to separate seeds out. Alas, it did NOT get done with weekend! (as I am at work now). Guess It will be my Monday chore!

Eek. This information was a little spread out and I sent my stuff a couple of weeks ago because I didn't want to forget about it. *embarrassed*
I hope Gary can forgive me! |

Unless I missed it, there was no "don't send it before" date. Mine, and several others I believe, also went a couple of weeks ago. The 11/17 (or 11/10 for procrastinators) date is when he hopes to have all (or at least the bulk of) the packages in so that he can get the seeds sorted, re-packed and back out before some people need to start seeds... and so that the swap does not drag out through Gary's entire winter! |

I just didn't want to make more work for him! I'm the queen of making things more difficult than they need to be. |

Des,
Excellent list, but alas when I clicked on the final link it had been removed. Thank you for taking the time to summarize all the years of info! - Lisa Quote:

Package has been mailed and now the waiting begins. I would like to give a big THANK YOU to MissS for sponsoring me and to Tormato for running the swap.

How would one even interpret the doc is what I wonder. I mean I see the names of all the different offerings. But no one has their names beside anything. So how would you even know that what x person wanted? Must be me... |

Yay! In between vacation and putting the gardens to bed, the package of goodies was sent on Nov. 1. And yes, the waiting and planning begins. Such a fun time.

It's a group document so if you have a variety on your wish list that isn't there, you add it (alphabetically). If it is already there, you increase the quantities desired (e.g. if 5 people want Eva Purple Ball, you increase the number to 6). Names aren't listed, but when you send in your seeds with your wish list attached you would indicate the varieties that you're wishing for and that you added to the Google Doc. If all works out well, there will be seeds available to fulfill your wishes because people saw that the were desired on the Google Doc and sent them in. Of course, there are no guarantees. There might not have been seeds sent in to fulfill your wish even if they were on the Google Doc or people may put things on their mailed wish list that they forgot to/didn't add to the Google Doc, thus making the demand greater than the supply. I personally packaged up all of the seeds that I planned to send info the swap and then I went through the Google Doc to see if there were wishes that I had seed for. I may not have had enough of a given seed to send in 10 packs for the swap, but I might have had enough if 1 or 2 people were wishing for some. Likewise, if there was a specified wish, I might have sent in slightly older seed (e.g. going back to 2010 or 2012) even though these years are outside of the parameters of the overall swap. I sent an additional 20-30 packs of seeds for specified wishes. |

upcountrygirl, I forgot all about explaining the group document thing when I answered your PM. HappyGardener23 explained it very well in post #403.
I explained how to send in your wish list in the bubble mailer part. I misunderstood your question. |
