Does anyone ever get triple topset clusters ( a cluster, more main stem, another cluster, more main stem, and one more cluster)?

Two tiers is the norm, here.
My walking onion bed was getting old, so instead of digging, dividing, and transplanting, I dug up almost everything, and planted all new topsets. I quickly planted masses of them in several clusters. Next spring, I dig them up and space them. The old bulbs were eaten. |

I received Catawissa variety topsets from Keith who got them from Martin so I'm looking forward to
trying them out. I also have another variety that I got from Burpee. I only have used the greens of my walking onions. Do people like cooking with the bulbs? What about cooking the topsets? |
