Big Beef!

Yes to Big Beef! It and Sungold are the only hybrids I usually grow. Tasty and prolific, I know I will get tomatoes no matter what else may happen in my garden.

Big Beef is also supposed to be fairly early. Maybe "Early - Mid season" : 70, 75 DTM ?
I have to check the status of mine tomorrow. I killed couple of them : One experimenting grafting and another to freeze ( Planted a month early ). But I do have couple more left.

I grew BB for the 1st time last year and it impressed me enough that I planted
8 of them this year. I only grow 20 plants.

I always find room for Big Beef in my garden. I planted 18 of them this year along with 5 other varieties. Big Beef is always a good producer for me.

I have 9 BB about 4" tall under lights along with C Purple, M Lifter, Hillbilly and Orange Slice. I usually pull a few pea size fruit from the BB and C Purple as they tend to set 5 or more in a cluster. I like 3 that are all good size in ea cluster rather than the plum sized fruit that occur if you let them make all they want.

Where in SC are you that you have just 4" plant, still under light inside ? Just curious.
My BB is almost 2ft tall, in the garden. I am in NC.

I grow Big Beef too. I already have a plant. This season I will not put it in my garden, but try it in a very large bucket. We are about to have black berry 'winter'. So the Big Beef will not get planted for a few days.

Looks like you have Leaf Miners - all of my plants had them this year, I used neem oil spray and they seem to have gotten better. Course I also trimmed the bottom branches and any leaves with the leaf miner markings.
