I read up on the subject and the only thing is that the family is given only a small portion of the compost. The main driver is for heat is " wood chips, alfalfa and straw" and "after a month, a corpse will yield about a cubic yard".

Using human remains as compost wtf... Yes a decomposed body can give sustenance to a plant but do you really want to wtf. Delete this morbid thread please its offensive.

My brain is working overtime after reading this.lI doubt if I could eat the veggies if this was used near a veggie plot. It is a bit creepy too. I ad a friend who was buried in a wicker casket though, she was very much into natural everything,however she was buried in a cemetery

It is a very interesting topic, a great subject for discussions. Thanks for the original creator of the thread.
It makes perfect sense to me to be decomposed naturally and organically, put yourself back in the natural world, not any different than other creatures.
