Thanks.
Yes, they have a special scent, but it is not so attractive to bees and other pollinators like apple or cherry trees.
We've got 3 pear trees of local varieties - for late fall, early fall and late summer crop. The late season tree one has got several grafts of local late varieties on one rootstock.
The oldest apple tree also has got several varieties of early fall maturing on one rootstock. It is always great to see several colored fruit on one tree

May 29. All tomato plants are pruned and tied up.
Sweet peppers are still small, but feeling good. Flowers and hostas are everywhere

Andrey, how many greenhouses do you have? Everything looks in prime shape!

Was that a yellow tulip? -- I have never seen one with such dense rose form petals! Are fancy tulips hard to obtain in your area? All the colors are beautiful.

Everything looking fantastic! Such gorgeous flowers. Our spring is way behind you this time. Most flowers are late including all the tulips, a few things flowered on time anyway, daffodils and anemones and cowslips, and strangest of all the wild strawberries are flowering early! Before leaves are on the trees, like it might be the last chance. Sure hope not!

Thanks for all comments.
Dee, I've got 2 greenhouses for tomatoes and one for sweet peppers. Several hot peppers are usually living along with tomatoes there. 2-3 plants are enough for drying and canning.
And this yellow wide tulip is a member of so called parrot tulip family. There are many of them of different colors... bi-colors and tricolos as well. Most of them are from Holland... We just like them.

Thanks, bower. It's certainly getting a little bit warmer, but I'm still can't grow only very early tomato varities outside...

Magnificent! Your stuff is a delight to look at, and I bet it is even much better to taste when harvest time comes.

Magnificent! We're just having our first summer day too. 22 C or 71 F is summer hot for us. We won't see chanterelles until August here, and blueberries are lowbush, late august for them. How lucky to have them in June! And fabulous flowers, we're still running late so no peonies, and not even chives in bloom yet - which is one I usually see on midsummer day.

Andrey, in the first forest picture, is that ginseng growing on the ground?
That hedghog is priceless!
