I am in Calgary, a Zone 3a location. We are on the lee side of the Rockies so super dry. At 3,450ft, we tend to have hot days & cool nights - most people here do not have home air conditioners. Folks here with greenhouses tend to plant out very large plants from large pots and get a significant jump on folks like me who plant out typical seedlings.

I had good luck with BB , they produced well even with leaf spot virus , I got several 1 pound slicers and one that was almost 2 pounds that I attached a pic of , it will definitely be in the garden next year for a good production tomato

Looks like it is the result of a fasciated blossom.

I think you are right about that , for the most part they were smooth and normal shape
