Looks like Esbenshades still has it, and I think the price is the same as I paid last year. I didn't check to see what they're charging now for shipping, though.

I purchased my EXEL LG from Greentrees Hydroponics; hydroponics.net.
It was $18.00 a quart (I beleive they also had a pint bottle, too.) I had ordered 2 bottles and shipping was 10.95 for a total of $46.95. (One quart is for a nearby T'Ville friend). I'm sure shipping for one bottle would be about $8 or so. The order was shipped very promptly. If I hadn't found this source, I probably would have ordered from Vermontbean.com. If I remember correctly, price was just slightly more. They had a pretty decent seed selection, too. Darlene |

Kevin, I'm not sure if this info is regarding Esbenshades' site or something else... I just checked Esbenshades, and their lowest shipping price for the Exel that I found is $8.95 for Priority Mail (1-2 days). I think that's still somewhat pricey for shipping, but it was the lowest I found when I searched for a supplier last year.

I'd placed an order on http://shop.bkfarms.com/ total was coming to 25.31 for a quart, now it appears they are out and are refunding as it won't be in stock for weeks. Now back to looking at sites where it comes to around 30 or more.

How soon would one want to use this on their transplanted tomatoes? My bottle just arrived today, and I will finish plant out tomorrow. I was thinking of foliar treatment in two weeks. Would sooner be better? All plants have already been innoculated with Actinovate via soil drench.

Last year, I bought 2 bottles from Lawnrite.com. About $22.00 plus shipping, which was the best deal I could find.

I just came back from South Bay Hydroponics and they have Excel LG on the shelf. $19.75 for the Quart bottle.
Check your local Hydroponics Shop BEFORE paying so much for Shipping charges! Raybo |
