Planning on growing at least 3 (shipped from Victory seeds on 28th)... Ideally, if everything goes as planned, 3 in the garden, and 3 in containers on the deck. So hopefully, I'd be able to provide feedback in comparison garden vs. bucket

This is actually quite exciting! Checking this thread daily for updates on the other dwarfs for their availability!

I'm anxious to see the Summertime Gold offering come out! Yummmmmmmm!

This is so exciting Craig and Patrina - you have worked so hard and have really earned the "sweat equity" worth of kudos you're getting from everyone! I can almost......almost......feel the tomato juice dripping down my chin and just want to jump up and down and scream HOORAH! for both of you, including Mischka for his ultimate support and sharing his marvelous home here with us sicko, wacko tomato nuts!

My order of all three arrived today. I will try Dwarf Emerald Giant this Spring.

If I recall correctly, the offerings from SESE will be Tasmanian Chocolate from the Happy family and Rosella Purple from the Sleepy family. Both are winners! Rosella Purple is among my absolute favourites each season.

Offerings from TGSC will be Summertime Green from the Sneezy family and Dwarf Wild Fred from the Sleazy family - haven't tasted any of the latest versions of these but you can check them out under those families.

And Sandhill will be offering Dwarf Jade Beauty and Summertime Gold, both from the Sneezy family, both will be popular I'm sure!

You could check out their websites for any scoops!

I'm looking forward to feedback on these during the NH season! Lots of luck everyone

I have been checking the sites, but still nothing, have room for 4 more dwarfs to grow out this season!

The first three from Victory - seeds planted tonight. Now the wait for a new life to start!

Received my order today and now 6 of the 10 seeds are soaking in a moist coffee filter till tomorrows sowing. Will be reporting how they do this summer as my BIL will be growing three and two of my coworkers will each have one. So Dwarf Emerald Giant is a go. Now if TGSC get Summertime Green I'll be set.

Any idea when SESE will have theirs available?

All I can do is to continue to contact the other three companies and suggest that they make these available - which I've done several times now. My suspicion is that they are all in their busiest times of the year and trying to find the time to do so.

I guess I'm a bit confused.

HAve you already sent ready to go seeds for them to offer and if so did they have them in time to include them in their 2011 Catalogs/websites?

I thought otherwise b/c I know a couple of folks you sent starter seeds to for them to do seed production and it didn't work out for at least for two of them last summer, for one reason or another, but what do I know.

Yes, each of the three other companies got the seeds, descriptions, etc at the same time as Victory did. There was never an expectation for them to make the print catalogs, but updating website catalogs isn't that difficult.

Here is an email response I received from SESE. I'm a little disappointed to not have the ability to purchase these, but as they say, good things come from those who wait.

I'm sorry to say, but we won't have any for sale this year or next,
and I can't even guarantee you if we'll have them after that. We'll
be doing more trialling of them this year to see which varieties are
most desirable and to get a better understanding of how to grow them
well. Next year, we'll probably do our first grow-outs of dwarf
tomato varieties for harvesting seed to sell to people like you.

I've sent an email to my contact at SESE. Will report whatever I hear (nothing yet)....and things are quiet on the Sandhill and TGSC front....just too busy a time for them to get to it, I suspect.

NCT, The SESE response is quite disturbing. I think you should have marketed your seeds thru Remy...they would have been sold out instead of gathering dust on a shelf.
