It's early, but Bear Creek looks like it might be my most productive plant this year. It is my first time growing it, so I hope it tastes as good as it looks. In fact, all of my black tomato plants (Bear Creek, Indian Stripe and Sarah Black) are loaded with blossoms and small fruit.

So far my cherokee purple has been the first and finding one to two new ones each day for the past week. Followed by beefmaster, sweet 100. Beefsteak and brandywine just started setting a day or two ago. Nothing from the romas yet.

Lets see...fruit set??? How about fruit picked, LOL Stupice May 5th, Kimberley 5/10, Uralskiy Ranniy 5/20, Tiny Tim around May 20th, Extreme Bush 5/28 and Anmore Dewdrop 6/2 only 99 days from seed! Those are the early ones. Taste is getting better with warmer weather. These plants have tolerated extreme weather conditions as far as tomatoes go. Fruit set...All 43 varieties have fruit set of some kind except for German Johnson I believe. Some plants are 6ft tall now! Orange Bell pepper is sporting some nice golf ball sized fruits already. That is a surprize to me. Many of these varieties came to me via seed trade so thanks again to all of you! I sure hope yours are doing as well.

Okay, I can finally join in.... my Amy's Sugar Gem exploded overnight. Kind of muddy to check every plant but those are pretty obvious.

Congratulations! I'm curious about Rutgers. And I've never heard of Amy's Sugar Gem (off to read up...)

I'm excited about both, we've never tried either one. Rutgers is nice and stocky with plenty of buds. Built like a mini fire plug.

I saw nothing but good reviews on Amy's Sugar Gem. Growing very vigorously right now.
Wasn't going to grow any cherry sized tomatoes this year but my older daughter was kind of bummed out about that and really wanted one. I told her it would be no problem at all. Amy's is supposed to be about golf ball size and I also grew an All Meat Cherry.

I think my wife had just gotten tired of bringing in colander's full of cherries the last couple of years. Couldn't eat them all and couldn't even pick them all.
Now, my girls are old enough to be active in the garden and they both like the cherries so those are their plants for them to keep an eye on.

Awesome! I have 32 varieties. Including 7 cherries (although I think one of them may not be planning on being a cherry). And Juanne Flammee, which has greenies already.

The only other cherries i started were Black Cherry and Sungold and these are coming in red so i don't believe it was a mix-up on my person's part. Just an update. This plant is prolific and the fruit are quite delicious. Saving seeds from it but really HATE i don't know what it is. Oh well, will just sit back and enjoy.

My first fruit set was a few days ago - Siletz. Shortly followed by Cherokee Purple. I couldn't plant until the first weekend of June. The weather stayed way too cold.

My first blossoms, oddly enough, were on Brandywine OTV. That's one I started from seed, and was tiny when I put it in. It hasn't set fruit yet, but it also hasn't had blossom drop.

Are all the Goose Creek fruits the same shape as your pic? They're supposed to be globes. Last year I grew the red "version", this year trying the pink and the 2 fruits are definitely round as were all the ones last year.

Turns out that it does seem to be an anomaly in that all the current and emerging fruit are globes. Here's a night shot. Call me strange but i tend to like taking a stroll through my garden at night.
