My prayers go out that this is just a blip & not anything serious at all!
As far as the pages go, I think it is advantageous for the varieties where there is a lot of data, such as CP, but not so much for lesser known varieties. Another way to look at it is to say that it don't need fixin' if it ain't broke & that is doubly true in the background of a possibly serious medical event. Get back home & be well, Tatiana!!! |

Tania just answered my e-mail and said no, she couldn't read here at TV and asked me to send the links cut and pasted, which I did, both this one and the Penny andJoe one.
She said she can only do e-mails off her blackberry, I forget which model she named. Carolyn, who has to do a few other things right now so won't be back here at the computer for a while and any other e-mails from her I'll transmit as she sees fit for me to do.

Carolyn, if you happen to speak with her again, let her know that we are thinking of her. (Okay, I know I am and strongly suspect that anyone else reading about this is as well)
Hopefully, she will be back and ready to be bombarded with all kinds of suggestions and well wishes very soon!! |

We are very concerned about her, and hope the doctors can finally pinpoint and solve both this latest heart thing, and also hopefully her long term problems as well. Tania is our treasure, and has done so much for the tomato community, not just here, but for everyone who has ever accessed the Tomatobase. Please get well, Tania!

Dear folks,
I am back home now. What happened is that I started to have severe chest pain and difficulties breathing last night and we had to go to the Emergency. The good news, it was not a heart attack. The not so good news is I got pericarditis and it needs aggressive treatment. The painkillers help to reduce the pain, but it is still here. The pain is so similar to classic heart attack pain, it was pretty scary! Pericarditis in my case is a common complication of an autoimmune disorder that I have been suffering from since summer 2011. But I wish I was luckier and did not have to experience this, at least not yet! Thank you so much folks for wishing me health and for thinking about me. It helps so much in recovery, knowing that I need to get better and continue my work. Thank you for all the awesome feedback you gave about TOMATObase website - I will be looking into all your suggestions - I cannot promise this would be going too fast (as I also have to start planting my peppers soon, and I still need lots of rest after each pain attack.) In any event, I am so happy the worst scare is behind me now, and I am back home and to the forum. Will be resuming the work on TOMATObase soon. I am still a bit too week to handle all the orders that came over the weekend, so please forgive me that I will not be able to send them on Monday as I promised. I will do my best to catch up. Tatiana

Dear Tania, sorry to hear of your pain! Hope it is completely cured soon, please rest.
Your tabs are a wonderful arrangement especially since the clickthrough time is good, it's a good way to deal with pages that become too heavy like the CP. BUT the original page layout is also very good and perfectly adequate. So, even though it's a good change, don't feel you should put in a lot of extra work, maybe use the tab format to clean up unwieldy pages when you have idle time. Rest! Our thoughts and best wishes are with you. |
