I just received a case of these. They are a little flimsy but once the soil is in them they should be okay. Shipping to Tennessee was $26.00 FedEx ground. Total 7 cents a pot.

Like Keger said and I have said before, check you local nursery they may have some to give you, from their recycling bin. I get all mine from from there and don't cost a dime, just a little bit of pride, which I don't I have, for dumpster diving. I find lots of good stuff by doing that! Its best to check with them in the middle of planting season tho. All the flowers that they plant have to come from containers. trays. etc.

My nursery doesn't share. They want you to purchase everything. I asked about used 5 gallon pots. I asked for 10. They wanted $3.85 each.

I'm done with plastic pots for myself.
Its seems as though they all break down in the sun and even melt.

I bought one for an agave and I cant even move the thing it just crumbles.
If I where to sell plants I think I would go with the peat pots.
I found a place where you can get 800 3.5 inch pots for $85.00.
I think I ordered from these folks before.
Still looking.

I just looked and the pot is labeled recycle number 5 which is polypropylene.
This plastic will degrade in the sun and heat which is why I think the ones I bought melted.
This is not a multi year material as mine lasted just one spring.
It is still a good price and cheaper than red solo cups and a plus they are square.

Just ordered a case. They had black or green. I went with the green.

That's my plan as well...

I just ordered the same sheet pots from Hummert again. The price was the same as last time. Hummert's prices on their web site are not what their products actually cost. They told me that's because a lot of retailers buy from them and then mark up the product in their store, and they don't want the markup to be obvious.

If you want to know the actual prices on their web site, you have to open an account and log in. There is no fee to open an account, and no minimum order.
