23* here this morning. I had my hardys (onions, leek, lettuce, peas, etc) in the greenhouse and they have been doing fine for some time, but I wanted to get my tenders ('maters, eggplant, peppers, sweet potato, etc) out of the house, and shut down the lights. My electric bills don't need this extended usage.

Well, to make a long story short, in order to test the waters, I put some sacrificial eggplants out there last night...

Well I got my plants all out yesterday in the wind for further hardening off after bringing them in to protect them from the rain we got two days ago and now they are issuing a flood watch for tonight and tomorrow. I was planning to set out tomatoes in another bed today but with this forecast I guess I'll put them back in the greenhouse for another two days. This weather is something this year.
