If you want something as sweet as Sungold try Nectar, it has a higher brix than Sungold.
You can only get it at Park Seed.
Jasper is an all around nice balanced tomato, sweet, but not overly so. More of an acid/sugar balance. It is an award winning cherry, very easy to grow.
Both are red, so not that extreme looking.

Glad someone brought up Nectar. I tried in in 2014 after reading Wayne S's 2013 Brix & acidity measures. For me it was outstanding.

Many cherries are outstanding I want to try Mexico Midget, Snow White, and many others.
I only grow three plants a year of cherries, so i have years to try them all. I would like to find some OP types to save seed. But the hybrids are outstanding. I'm growing three OP types next year. Snow White,Blue Gold Berries, and Purple Bumblebee.

Oooooh...I would say NO to black cherry if you are looking for a long keeper. I keep track of my tomato reviews over the years, and I really like the flavor of Black cherry (tastes like a big beefsteak), but they go bad quick, because the skins are thin and rip often.

My favorite cherry is Snow White. It is a white, so you would have to be brave. It is very bright tasting, productive, early, and can last a week or so on the counter.

I've grown Lollipop many times and it keeps very well just sitting on the kitchen counter. Pale yellow color and sweet flavor. Big, healthy plants produce A LOT.

I tried Galina last summer and liked them. Even with tons of rain there wasn't any splitting. Isis Candy and Snow White do well for me but Black Cherry splits almost every one regardless of rainfall amounts.

Snow White is good but if you want a "white sweet cherry tomato" go with Dr Calolyn. All white cherry are on the pale yellow side in color. Black Cherry tomatoes are very sweet too" But it needs 8 or more hours of sun. Believe it are not. The black Cherry taste will change if there is a rainy weeks or so.
Bumblebee I grew the blue Cherry Tomatoes in your picture. Tell me did you like them? Are they "Blue Tomato # Indigo Rose" I grew last year.

wow! You guys like your cherries! haha. I thought Black Cherry was it....but now L says they are not good keepers. hmmm...

I have never had a problem with Black Cherry not keeping well but if any on my family drops by they are the first ones gone. I love the flavor and will always grow them although I do not think they are as tasty when I grow them in the fall as they are in the summer.

I agree with you. I guess many people pick them very rip. I alway pick them with greenishbrown shoulders and they keep and eat the ripe one's be for I get to the house.

If you want a fancy Cherry try Santorini. I call them tea party Cherry tomatoes. They are a Big Cherry tomato like tiny tomatoes. They are just to pretty to eat.

We havent had a problem with it either.... it keeps a long time and we just love them.

Had some for dinner tonight... :-)

We usually eat them plain but tonight sliced them with salt pepper and a little parmigianno reggiano cheese.

The stuffed pepper was stuffed with homemade sauce, spicy sausage and cheese... ;-)

That looks mouthwateringly yummy Ginny. I put up a photo of today's harvest here in the photos forum. Are you getting a similar load? There are many cherries in that one.

Bumblebee I grew the blue Cherry Tomatoes in your picture. Tell me did you like them? Are they "Blue Tomato # Indigo Rose" I grew last year.

I agree, Dr. Carolyn is VERY, VERY good! We think they taste EXACTLY like sour patch kids. A busrt of sour and then so sweet. And while we grow them every year, they are not productive for us. More of a treat- a few here and there.

A cherry that's not productive? That's rare! I will try Dr Carolyn down the road. I have snow white now.

Oh and my avatar is Indigo Rose, and no i didn't like them at all. Very pretty though! I will not grow them again.
