Yes, I believe so. I know of one grower that loves them, he too is Greek.

My daughter is seriously dating a man from Thessaloniki Greece who got himself to the USA for college and has stayed for several years since. He is delightful. For him I am growing Thessaloniki, of course, as well as a Greek Oregano and a Greek Miniature Basil. Since it seems there are a few Greek Tomato Heirlooms out there that you guys rave about, I would love to acquire some rare varieties to grow for him Happy to send a SASE if you all are inclined to share- please pm. I have loved reading your personal stories. To me that makes the tomatoes even more special. Thanks for sharing your stories!

That was my sentiment exactly, growing up. I swore when I grew up, I would never eat another tomato again!

The favorite for eating raw in my house is Pinapple.

It is rare, but I have seen strange flower and foliage conditions a few times. It is genetic with the same varieties often producing oddities. Ildi is one that can throw leaf/flower rachis at times.

I have been growing Giant Belgium for many years and it always gets multiple spots in my garden every year. Last year it was my best tasting tomato for the first time. It almost always is in my top 10 except those rare years that it is too sweet or a bit bland which seems to happen to almost all varieties at one time of another over the years. I have read descriptions of it being a very sweet tomato but that is not what I have found. It is usually a well balanced tomato with a good dose of tang to go with the sweet which is what I look for in all the tomatoes I try.

This year my best tasting tomatoes so far are Neves Azorean Red, Brandywine Sudduth's and Cowlick's, Earl's Faux, Italian Tree, JD's Special C Tex and Stump of the World. It is going to be hard to chose this year as I have a lot of different varieties this year and for the most part the tomatoes have all been excellent. This has been one of the best seasons for flavor that I can remember. I say that because out of 30 plants in that first bed only one produced bland tomatoes and even they were okay.

I am now starting to get tomatoes from my second and third beds so I will have some more new ones to try. It will be late in the season before I can be sure which one or ones were at the top for the whole season. I also have a fourth bed in which the tomatoes are just starting to set a few fruits.

I'm just like everybody in that I know what I like and recognize it when I taste it and from reading what some like I know my tastes are different from many but that's why they have chocolate and vanilla.

That's probably not a leaf, but a truss, and the leaf is growing at the end of the truss. Quite normal, some varieties do this regularly like PBTD.

Just put a sling under it if it looks like it's getting too heavy for the leaf, that's what I had to do.
