Afraid to ask is the easiest way to not get want you want. The first purpose of this swap is to locate your #1 wish list variety, and my posting of the composite wish list. Telepathy or not, I guess you were very lucky.

Thanks!!!!! I thought "The One" wasn't available, period, and that my choice was between wishing for a pie in the sky, or asking for 15 greats and hoping to get several. Next time, I promise not to be shy. Thinking sure changes after participating for the first time!!!

I'm so bummed I missed out on this. Not because I need the seeds but I'm going to hate being left out of the loop in this thread for the next 6 months.

Walt,

There still may be quite a bit leftover after I send all participants packages back. Being off by just 1% in guessing how many to send to each participant means 100 leftover packs. Off by 2%...

There are also many varieties with just too many packs that have come in. A large donation of these common ones (Black Cherry, etc...) is going to Athens TN to start up the first seed lending library in their state.

Gary, you have the distinct sound of a tomato enabler. :0) I'll be happy to send you some seeds . PM me how many of what and I'll get them out tomorrow.

I just hate to miss out on the fun for this season.

Walt,

The tomato swap is about 95% done. So, there is no need for sending in seeds, now. PM me a wish list of varieties, and/or types of tomatoes from the "categories", and a mailing address. If you want to go to the trouble, also a list of what you have, so that I won't send you those varieties that you already have.

Seeds arrived to Canada. I'm overwhelmed with all the varieties I've never suspected even existed.
Will be very busy for the next few weeks.
Thank you very much, Gary!

My package arrived yesterday! Christmas in January for me most certainly! Thank you so much, I recieved everything I requested and so much more including my most wanted variety. The beans and peas are all new to me so lots of interesting Google searches in my future.
Gary, I don't know how you do it. Thank you!!

Yesterday I was shocked. I opened a letter from Gary and in the envelope were 44 bags of tomato seeds. Thank you Gary and all the others who contributed their seeds. Only I do not know if I shall test all these varieties before the end of my life.
