Yesterday I was shocked. I opened a letter from Gary and in the envelope were 44 bags of tomato seeds. Thank you Gary and all the others who contributed their seeds. Only I do not know if I shall test all these varieties before the end of my life.

YAHOOO!!! My package was here waiting for me when I arrived home from vacation and I am totally blown away by all that I recieved! Almost all of my 'requests' and hundred others that I can't wait to try. I'm sure I'll never get around to trying them all, but I really really really am so grateful to Gary and everyone who shared what they had! I hope my seeds do well for all of you too.

Now Gary, sometime after you have had a rest, I would love to know what the most requested seeds were, and seeds/varieties that were lacking so I can contribute the best seeds next year!

In a city of 400,000? people, there must be a few others who plant tomatoes.

And, I was sh

cked that I could fit 44 varieties between the folds of a greeting card, with one stamp send them many thousands of miles away, and have them arrive in about a week.

Here, it takes 4 to 5 days for a letter to arrive 3 miles away. It does get routed out of state, first.

I got mine last week, but with work, and the flu going thru my house, it's been hectic. I wanted to say THANKS A MILLION for sending all those interesting varieties! I can't wait to do searches on the many new to me varieties!

Actually, very soon I need to pull all my seeds out and figure out what is what, and what I am growing this year, still haven't figured that part out as I wanted to wait and see what came in the swap

Gary, you deserve a vacation for all the work you put into this, it is very much appreciated!

No, she didn't!

I just found the "6-pack that I cut out" for her, that you sent. The special seeds that people send in for others, get put in a special place. If only I can remember where that is.

I'll send then after the big blizzard. I think I owe her some beans, too.
