OK folks, I've read over 500 post and nobody ask this question.

Where can I find those small 1"X1" zip bags?

I've been to several Wal-Marts, Kmart, Target, and some stores I can't remember.

Walmart does have them in the craft section. They are sold in packs of 100 and sell for about a dollar a pack. The maker on the label for mine is "My Boutique". At my store they are hanging on hooks on the back wall by the beads and jewelry making supplies.

I hope that this helps...

There should be about 3 or 4 sizes at WalMart craft area, as MissS said, I use the slightly bigger ones as they are easier to handle and open/close for my old fingers!!

Imp, you gotta keep that av

Bob, I do buy mine at Walmart - 100 bags for a dollar. They also sell them at cigarette/tobacco shops, but they cost more.

Thanks, thought it was cute, since I am looking for Hooper & Quint!!!

The ones that people use for beads and such are the same as the ones at the other shops, but other shops, mmmm, charge more for what they think may be going in those baggies, even seeds, LOL!!!!

You can also get those bags from Amazon or eBay. I got 1000 for around $6 or $7 several years ago.

My local Walmarts didn't have them either but Michaels had a boatload near the checkout lane .

Hope you can find some.

I guess all Walmarts aren't alike because both sizes were at my local store in the craft section. I got the larger of the two sizes but I think that both were $1.

After getting the larger sized bag I started to wonder if I should have gotten the smaller one since the larger bags seem like too much for pepper and tomato seeds but as mentioned above they are easier to handle when putting the seeds in and also adding labels. I still plan on getting the smaller bags because oddly I think that larger seeds like melon seeds go better in the smaller bags because if they are being shipped that it is better that they not have a lot of room to move around.

Our Walmart used to carry them in the craft department and now they have moved them to the Bridal section. If you can't find them ask a sales clerk where they have them hid.

I got mine on eBay, from these sellers:

It does take forever for shipping, but the prices are good and I don't have to drag three kids all around a store.

The tiny bags are great if you're the one doing the stuffing. If they're being sent off for someone else to fill on a seed offer, they are a royal pain for those with arthritis. Like imp said.
