It sets so many fruit it won't matter. I like watching those purse shapes form.

There is a well known tricot which is stable for this variety.

http://tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Tricot_Czech

Which I've grown, and only once before have I seen a quadcot, and not that I don't have lots of other stuff to do I Googled to see if anyone had seen a pentacot. No luck.

The genetics of multiple cotyledons is known and here's a linka bout that which I don't suggest you read.

http://jxb.oxfordjournals.org/content/59/11/2917.full

Some references to tomatoes but most to Arabdoptis, (sp?),which has received lots of study.

Carolyn, the question being,as stated in the article,is having multiple cots an advantage,or not,to the resultant plant. Geraldo will take pictures of that quad one every day and let us all know what happens.

Culled 2 more Mikhalych and my final Byzkhaya Roza. TSWV, real shame, each had about a dozen fruit. The threshold for culling is pretty low right now, any spots or wilting and the karambit is out to send 'em packing.

Combo of measures against whitefly/thrips and the rat B@$)@+ds continue to hit me hard. All part of the process.

The cooler night temps undermine the growth spurts, manifested as shorter internodal spacing. I like stout autumn plants.

Lots of ripe peppers, harvesting Jalapen~os, Serranos, Czech Blacks, Caribes, Baby Aji Yellows, and a lone 7 PotBrainStrainY; deseed/devein, cook/reduce with 1/2 L or so of fresh squeezed OJ from the backyard, one mango, shallots, scallions, garlic cloves 50:50 rock salt:smoked, pepper, and a few squeezes from a yellow lemon and/or vinegar at the end to finish it off. Here come the pain.

Nice, I'm a masochist as well. Do you have any good hot sauce recipes? I am about to start a crap ton of pepper mash. Wanna play around with it some.

Gee, Geraldo, I had to look up karambit. What all I have learned from your thread. Guess that is why I keep coming back.
My gardens are are pretty much toast. I will be living vicariously.

We're all wimps around here, I'll ask my aunt who lives down south for specific recipes.

Sorry to hear the end is here. I'll continue, see if I can go the full year.
