Today I decided to sample my first New Big Dwarf fruit of the season. It was somewhat small at only 5 oz (most of the more mature fruit on the plant appear 50% larger), but I was just happy to make myself a nice salad along with a few Sunrise Bumblebee fruit thrown in for good measure.

The New Big Dwarf is growing in a 10 gallon fabric container and currently stands at 3.5 feet tall. The first fruit ripened 114 days from sowing and 66 days from transplant. It was pretty good tasting for an early fruit and was well-balanced.

Very good! And, to top it off, every one of the fruit is visually stunning.

My first Dwarf Sweet Sue was ready today - 69 days from transplant and 117 days from sowing. It weighed 8 oz (about 226 grams) and was very tasty and flavorful!

Maglia Rosa. I also decided to pull a Malee Rose plant that "randomly wilted for no reason". I kept three green tomatoes, and I think I have another plant.
