It was a beautiful evening in the greenhouse, lots of suckers disappeared today on my second batch.
I had a bright idea that I would let Black Cherry branch more than I did last year to reduce the height of the plant. The plant by the coffee cup is this years, now I just have a wide tall plant that is taking over, drinks alot too.

The plants are doing great and we are eating quite a few tomatoes now. I think Fred Limbaugh has been the best so far, Cowlick's Brandywine second, Pruden's Purple was good but not as good as the other two.

You are the superstar of Alaska tomatoville. It's a jungle in there and I hope to have a tomato tasting with you and Sherry this fall. You just might like the taste of my meager offerings. That's one beautiful tomato greenhouse!

Sue, I have really liked many of the tasters Sherry has brought over to sample. We are amazed that both of us grows at least 50 varieties or so, but our lists have very few of the same varieties as the other. Bring some goodies I am ready to try them all.

If I ever visit the great state of AK, I'll have to add your greenhouses to the list of attractions I see!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another thing, I am originally from Arkansas. Does it bother you when you see the abbreviation for Arkansas as AK. I have seen it on the news several times, as well as some other places. Wonder how that slips through the proofreading??

We used to visit southern Missouri and Arkansas when I was a kid, I loved it down there. Stop in anytime, I can show you some other people's setups too, some are pretty darn impressive for farming a few hunderd miles from the Artic Circle.

Let me guess, was it southwest MO and northwest AR. Table Rock Lake in Branson, MO is a very beautiful place. That area and down into Fayetteville is good country. I grew up in northeast AR. It is very nice there as well, just not as much as the west side

I am getting better results this year by making sure these do not get to dry between waterings. More fruit, bigger fruit, and they are just delicious too.

I have argued with many people where Mark lives about this and what you can do.

Wow! What does the 624 on the scale measure? Is that grams? That would convert to 1 lb 6 oz. AKgardengirl says you are the superstar of Alaska tomatoville. You are the global superstar!

Just think how good your plants would be at the North Pole!
