Zucchini of the North Atlantic... ROFL! Never thought I would hear that again, since the moratorium.
Having a food fishery is great. And management of that is improving. Very scary a few years ago when they only gave you a day or a weekend to go out, no matter the weather.

I wish they would learn a bit down here (northeast) about fishery management.
Total cluster.
They took a resource that fed entire continents for centuries, and destroyed it to 5% of its former biomass. Can barely sustain itself, much less feed the hordes.

So much better than a few yrs ago. No panic. A few boats this morning did not even
bother to get their quota having already filled their freezers for the Winter months.
With the capelin in, and the whales rushing the shore, what a sight to see...beyond
just catching fish.
Most what is being caught now goes to the elderly and neighbors without boats.
