I would be OK with 3~4 seeds, if supplies get low.
And as for fruit shape... perhaps oblate would be a good term. Thanks! Lee

And if the "offers" contain more... say 6-8+, I would be happy to pair up with someone to insure we both are able to "get in" on it! (ahem, Full Moon ) |

Me three! I'd be happy to share if the amount is bigger than 3-4 seeds. I'm also happy to send postage since smaller #'s of seed means more offers to mail.

Richard and Neil - thank you! Does this mean I won't have to "camp out" on the Available for Trade thread tomorrow night?!?

If germination is good, perhaps the offer should be changed to SASE and 2-3 seeds/offer... then if you don't get enough interest to use up allthe seeds, go ahead and increase how many are sent. |

So far none of the 6 seeds put into a coffee filter 5 days ago have germinated. The only other type planted at the same time not to germinate any yet is KBX.
I've moved these to direct sow into mix last night and sowed 8 more. I'm at a bit of a quandary. I don't want to send seeds that won't germinate out but I can't imagine these are all going to fail. Or maybe they are just slow to germinate as a variety. Maybe Medbury Gardens can do a similar test on this batch? Hopefully you have some from the same batch. Only other thing I can think of is the postal machines. More to come. I sort of estimated how many there are and there are quite a few, so 5-6 per person would be a good bit of offers but I want to see some germination... |

Med, Thanks for the seeds, However the plastic bag they were in has seed indentions like they were pretty well crushed, What luck this variety is having getting started over here. Anyway I started them with some other varietys a few days back so I should know in a day or 2 if I'll have some Hoy, and if so I will be saving seed for those in need.

Anything wrong with waiting until next year when hopefully those who will be growing it this summer will make seeds more available?
And I say that since I already have a few seeds and if all goes well will be listing it in my next seed offer for 2012, if the crick don't rise and the Black Bear doesn't get me.
