Mine arrived yesterday ...then my desktop computer burned up, literally.

I've spent the last 24 hours assembling a new one.

Hope it wasn't a bad omen for my 2009 growing season.

One last word of farewell, Dear Master and Mistress.

Whenever you visit my grave,

say to yourselves with regret

but also with happiness in your hearts

at the remembrance of my long happy life with you:

"Here lies one who loved us and whom we loved."

No matter how deep my sleep I shall hear you,

and not all the power of death

can keep my spirit

from wagging a grateful tail.

I got my Yearbook today.

For those of you who are SSE members and make requests from the Yearbook I wanted to share with you that only my 13 new varieties for 2009 were listed and by error 17 varieties that should have been listed were left out.

Those left out for which I still have seeds are:

Danko
Anna Maria's Heart
Sherrill
Tsar-Kolokol
Joe's Portuguese
Prue
Russian Bogatyr
Matt D' Imperio
Kosovo
Milka's Red Bulgarian
Sara's Galapagos
Variegated
V-B Russia
Vjerino Paradajiz Sjeme
Vezha
Vodar

Again, the above varieties were left out but the 13 new varieties were listed and are available to those SSE members who do request seeds from others.

Those properly deleted from the 2009 SSE YEarbook include:

Aunt Gertie's Gold
Portuguese Neighbour, changed to Gran's Portuguese Neighbour
Tidwell German
Lithuanian
Amish Potato Leaf
Todd County Amish
Krasnodor Titans
Sarnowski Polish Plum
Cherokee Green

And the immediate above varieties plus the new 2009 ones I did offer to ALL here at Tville, not just SSE members, in a seed offer at Tomatoville, but now closed

I know of no other way to let SSE members know about this other than posting this at the several sites where I do read/post.

Thanks.

Yippee! Mine came today wrapped in plastic, thank goodness. The mailman folded it in half as usual and stuffed it into the mailbox as usual, which normally results in torn pages and cover half ripped off, but NOT this year.

Happy Dance... mine came today! And it was even in a priority envelope. No ripped cover.
