SunSugar F1 for me, my mother, and daughter. SunGold went down to late blight in 2 days 2 years ago, and the fruit tasted awful. When the SunSugar got hit by LB this year, it hung in there for another month, and the fruit tasted fine. I hung the greener branches in the shed, and just finished them last week.
Also, thinner skin and less splitting impressed me on SS.
No other tomato I know of yet produces for 5 months in the PNW. (But I'm trying Jaune Flamme next year, anyway!)

I would have to say Better Boy. It is tasty, grows well here, has been earlier than Early Girl and it holds the world record for production. Each year I measure the total weight of toms and BB has always won but I keep trying for better.

For a stable and established tomato, I'll say "Brandywine-Sudduths". For tomatoes in the process of being stabilized, it's got to be "Big Cheef".

Hege German Pink - Slicer that's early, very productive, blemish free and awesome taste. I also love them because they are all identical shaped but vary in size which gives me some smaller ones that are perfect so I don't waste a big dude on just me

Have been reading good things about Hege German. Didn't make the cut last year but is on my grow list for 2012. Gonna squeeze a few more in this season.

my uncle steves italian plum is the only tomato that has a guaranteed spot every year in my garden. everything else has to take turns. family first

There are many replies for SunGold.

While it is by far my favorite cherry, and is in my top 10 of favorite tomatoes, it would never be my #1 because it lacks versatility.

Kind of awkward for a sandwich, and while it can be used for sauce (yes, I've made tomato sauce with just SunGold), the flavor of the sauce is a bit
"different".

I'm with bamamater on Indian Stripe, great production, consistency, and taste. It performs very well in this southern climate.
