Terroir is done and sent. I'm headed out for some errands. I'll check in when I get back to see if there's anything left to do!

Great job TEAM! We are done with everything, except the websites that have not been updated for 2013 yet, ot the ones I am waiting for the lists from vendors.
Now I'll have to work on the master spreadsheet. Michael, if you are serious about import utility, I will tell you what the input would be and the processing logic. For now, I think it will be important to figure out how to create a python script that would - find a page based on the variety name - export the page (in xml format) - modify the line "|131=[vendor codes go here]" - import the modified page back in. I believe we'll have to use MediaWiki APIs to export/import - all other ways did not work for me, as there is a revision id that needs to be created by the system before importing/saving the modified page.

Well, i found another way: Quite simple to me! Simply use the HTTP protocol! Handle the application/script as a user. It is completely transparency to the Server or the MediaWiki system. No API is required!
Works great but i've not finished yet! The tool should be ready in a few hours! - Michael |
