How about... a doughnut shaped, with a hole in the middle?
For a bagel...
Still waiting for that mutation

Not necessarily for me, unless the taste is exceptional

For real. Coffee flavored. Just think of all the folks in the morning and the after dinner beverage folks, instead of having a cup of coffee, could be getting healthy with a coffee flavored tomato.

You could even make it brown colored, or black, neither of which I ever seen a dark colored tomato before yet. Maybe make a couple of black and cream striped ones for those that like a little cream in their coffee.

If there was coffee flavored and coffee looking tomatoes I would be drinking about 40 cps of coffee a day less and maybe I wouldn't be so hyper.

Well, imagine a family with adults having coffee flavored tomato for breakfast and kids chocolate flavored tomato with peanut butter flavored peppers.

I envision a tomato that you can control its brix/ acidity and color by feeding it . That is like some hydrangea .
So if you want it sweet, feed "x" , if you want then tangy feeds them "y".

How about one that grows like watermelon ?

I think we are not loosing it, we have lost it!

And you may call us "lost generation" or "lost germination".

I'd actually love to find/make a tomato that was intensely white, rather than the typical buff color of "white" tomatoes. Once you've got that trait, then you can more realistically make things like hot pink.

Color Swirls?

Please read the following link:

http://www.tomatoville.com/showthread.php?p=190909

THE most beautiful color swirls I've ever seen, but being a rin ( non-ripening) mutant it is inedible but as you can see from the link I was trying to get someone to use it in crosses to save the coloration and make it edible.
