I love the sub arctic.sweetest tomato I have tasted yet.very sweet, juicy and slightly acidic.a keeper without a doubt.the chefs choice F2 is fruity and juicy with less acid.very nice also.

Here's my for-market harvest from three weeks ago. Haven't had time since to snap any photos.

Harvested this morning, Canestrino. Very vigorous plant and the fruit is always the biggest of the season but the tomatoes are somewhat delicate with thin skin and juicy texture. I like to pick them when just turning from green so they can ripen safely on a counter without bruising. Occasionally, there will be one that is so big it bruises on its own weight

Just wanted to show the inside of a Canestrino. When I've seen this one talked about it is usually referred to as a sauce tomato, they do make great sauce but I sliced one for my sandwich just now and it was out of this world delicious....

Finally , I am getting few ripe tomatoes despite of the cool weather. Our highs are in 60s and 70s these days. So considering I am doing ok.

This is not a sweet tasting tomato in my experience, just tomato-y and juicy. I like this tomato very much, others I grow do not compare. FYI, I'll be sending some seeds in to the MMM.
