Absolutely! I have a Rutgers, Olive Hill, and a Neves Azorean Red hardening up right now in the garage

Darin, those latest pics of your plants look exactly like one I bought. It was a Better Boy from a big box store. Looked perfect when I bought it, but all subsequent growth was gnarled like yours. I pinched off the gnarly bits, but replacement growth was just as bad. I tossed it to protect all my others.

I am sorry Darin. I was upset because we already discussed, you agreed, and it has only been less than a week so I felt you were in panic mode and not being patient. With your newest photos I definitely see the cobra shaped leaves, looks like herbicide damage after all.
I will try to be more patient, or just keep my mouth shut!

I am of the same opinion as Marsha ( OPINION !)
I am not a tomato disease expert, but have seen so many herbicide affected pictures over the years. Yeas , in one garden some might be affected for some reason, some will. Maybe it has to do with the variety's reaction and allergy.
But ultimately Darin has to decide . That is his plant, his garden.

Well, it is moot now. I have dumped the sick plants, washed and bleached the containers, filled with fresh compost and soil. And I have planted seedlings of:

Neves Azorean Red
Big Zac
Rutgers

I have moved the pots to a different location, away from my RoundUp and tobacco-spitting son.

I have a couple of late additions too :
-- Mortgage Lifter ( I have one that the freeze almost killed it but it is flowering )
-- Chocolate Cherry (want to compare it against Black Cherry )

I have also a sicky Ceour De beouf . I am rooting some of its suckers.
It is the only sicky plant out of 57. All other plants around it are doing just fine.

those leaves look exactly like the tomatoes I had sprayed last year with neem trying to get ahead of some aphids in the greenhouse.. developed like leather. and had balls instead of the leaf uncurling into a leaf. just toss em or plop them in a corner and forget about them then start over.
