Ted I try to get rid of seeds every year but I still have a lot of variety. I wish I had what you needed. I think I am set for seeds this year. I really need to find homes for all those freebies that companies send me. Sandhill Preservation, Sample Seeds, Heritage Seeds, as well as the larger companies. I am trying to cut back. Thanks for the offer.

Ted, just now saw this thread - and my condolences as well. Sounds like a lot of your missing seeds will be replaced by members of this wonderful community. To quote Lisa above, can you let us know what is still missing? I have a large stash...

Here's the list right now. I've found commercial sources for all but one.

Olewar's Big Pink ======> ???? === Can't be "Oleyars German" because Oleyars German is a "Red" tomato. On the other hand, it wouldn't be the first time I received a Pink that was actually a Red, and vice/versa. I've even received a GWR that was actually a heavy antho Pink. But, in the end, I love them all.

All of these have commercial sources available. But, if you or anyone else has extras, I'd appreciate it. I still have time to get these going this season.

The response has been phenomenal. My mind can't find adequate words right now. Thanks, folks. These are the only two left to recover.

Thanks, Sue. I'll give them my best shot. I put some 2012 Dwarf Kelly Green seeds I had saved myself in the mix and they were up in 4 days. Maybe I can get lucky with those of yours (again).

I wish I had something to offer except a big so sorry! You have things I have never heard of. Hope you can build your supply back up and find the things you lost. I don't use MG crap. only baccto or promix.

Well, I'm kinda happy so far with the Jiffy Mix. I've had seeds from 2012 come up in 4 days.

Ted,

I was looking at the volunteer tomato you posted photos of and then I lost the thread for some reason.

The tomato looks like one of the Wild Boar Farms striped varieties. It resembles the Sweet Carnaros Pink due to it's size in my weak eyes. If it was larger, it would look similar to Red Boar or Pink Berkley Tye-Dye.

It only got to about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

And, I've grown both the Red Boar and PBTD and it's definitely not either of those. I have not grown Sweet Carnaros Pink. I'll have to look that one up.

The photos of Sweet Canaros Pink on the Wild Boar Farms are not good. They do not show the vibrant colors and gold stripes of the beautiful tomato. I grew it for a couple of years, but it didn't make my long term grow list. It would win a beauty contest easily.
