Exvoting yo hear of the most northerly place it’s ever been grown so far, thank you so much for trying it In Finland. Very exciting for me to hear you got some fruits . I hope with a year or two of you saving seeds it may acclimate a bit more for your garden.

Karen,

The picture you posted 4 days ago with all the ripe fruit; I'm speechless. They are exquisite.

Does Marsha grow any of these? I guess what I am asking is how do they do in a hot/humid climate?

Hi Barb.
Marsha has grown my hearts and Polaris very successfully.
Those f4’s have not been grown outside my own garden yet. They aren’t stable yet

As an FYI, I will be listing KARMA Purple, KARMA Pink, Midnight Sun and Taiga in the very near future at www.growartisan.com

Polaris is already available.

Because of the low seed counts, particularly in the Midnight Sun and Taiga, supplies will be limited.

I am so happy that you think highly enough of them to list them on Artisan seeds Fred. It’s been quite a year and It’s so exciting to see my tomatoes making their way out in the big world now. I could not be more proud <3
Thank you so much for taking a chance on growing them, it means a lot to me to have the chance to see them grown and evaluated by a pro I respect very much.
It’s thanksgiving this weekend in Canada and I am grateful for this.
I hope you sell them out and I think you will. For the first time ever I’m wishing they had more seeds

Well, they sold me some for sure! Excitedly waiting for order to arrive since I am finally getting back to exploring new tomatoes. Thank you Karen, I have been reading your posts since the beginning of your project and appreciate all the work you did in developing these.

PS. I see quick reply doesn't include the original post I am replying to. Ordered these from Secret Seed Cartel last week.

Thank you so much Heide, I agree, having someone I admire and have learned from like Fred think my tomatoes are good enough to list for sale on his website is a huge compliment and a real dream for me. I’ve put a lot of love into these tomatoes and I am very excited about their first year out in the world.
There’s more to come too which is the best part of all. I will keep working through my next ones in the same slow and careful fashion and I hope to have more in the next few years.
I hope if people like these they will like my next ones too because If they aren’t as good they won’t leave my garden.

Hello everyone, I hope to stay in touch with the good people of tomatoville!
As always, I can be found @NorthernGardenerCanada on Facebook or Instagram, please feel free to contact me there or via my email address
K.olivier@shaw.ca

Thank you so much for everyone’s friendship, advice and support through the years. I hope that some of the valuable information, especially in the crosstalk section can be kept somehow. I have my own information of course as I have always kept it elsewhere for myself but I think there is so much wisdom here that I have valued in my own learning.
I became a tomato breeder here. How about that?! I will miss it.
Thank you for Tomatoville and all it has been Craig.
Best wishes to everyone, swing by NG anytime

By the way, for SSE members, all of my released tomatoes as well as Zena’s gift are listed. They will be in the new book in January.
Happy holidays!

Hi Karen, I can't wait to try your tomato varieties ! I bought seeds of:
- Polaris (I'll compare it to Black Sea Man, which works well for me)
- Midnight Sun
- Taiga
- True Colors
- Zena's Gift

I like all purpose meaty not-too-juicy tomato that I can use for sandwich and also for sauce, so it seems I should like them all ! I'll report my results !

Are you breeding any orange tomato ?
