I see no difference between my 4 tri-cots and their other normal counterparts. They are growing no better or worse.

Mine seems to be growing
alot better than before (could be warm weather/rain) - the intersting part should be from saved seed ... Will more quad-cots appear ? ~ Tom

My quad-cot is def. growing
taller and taller each day - Its at a slower pace than the others, but is doing quite well ~ I'm very curious as well to see if saved seed from fruit (when / if I get fruit) if other quads will emerge ~ To be continued ... ~ Tom

Sure is a different speciman. Soldacki plants grow huge with one stem so it will be interesting to see what this one produces

Will you be saving seed from it? It would be interesting to see if it passes its weird childhood on to any of the young'uns.

I'm saving seed for sure - Just to try as an experiment ~ Maybe you guys could help me and see if any other "Mortgage Lifter Quad-Cots" come about ~ Tom

The only growing trait I've
seen is its a dwarf - Plain and simple - it hasn't "caught-up" with the size of the "regular" plant next to it ~ I'm battling blight in my garden as we speak - The quad-cot has dime sized toms on it ... I'm hoping I'll be able to get fruit to seed from it ~ Its just fun to see what happens next year ... ~ Tom

I planted out my Soldacki in the greenhouse two days ago. It has two distinct stems joined together like two core electrical lead, from the ground, up to where they seperate. It is looking strong. I will try and post a pic here later.

Here tis. Sorry about the blurry pic. Still not sure how to take a good macro shot. You can see it has two stems fused together that branched out just before cotyledon stage.
