Having a couple left over, I did a second planting of the Russian Banana potatoes I planted in the spring. I need to harvest them soon. Will post a pic when I do. Neat getting two harvests here in Ohio.

I planted some potato pieces 17 days ago and they're growing like crazy. I'm growing in containers again. I didn't have good luck at all with my in-ground planting last year. Critters or gremlins or something got to them.

Well, my request from Tom got here really about month too late for fall planting (my fault, not his), but remarkably the tubers mostly survived just fine until January 15th when I planted them out in my raised bed. Most of them came up and are doing very well. Looking forward to the results!!
