Ginny, I would not spray seedlings until they get to be about 4" high, or 2" for dwarfs.
That RK heart looks really interesting. |

Ok good to know... :-)
I read something on the other forum about the RK green heart being tasty. I had already ordered the purple when I saw that. I'm growing Brads Black Heart, Cherokee Black heart, and RK Purple Heart to hopefully try them side by side. Ginny |

Worth,
I wont separate them as it stunts them and slows them down too much. I will trim out all but the best looking plant in each cup soon. I was going to do it yesterday but decided to wait just a few more days. The reason I started so many per cup is because some of my seeds are getting older. Below is a tomato i grew from seeds labeled Surpriz that i got from a friend. It wasnt stable and i got something that was unexpected but soooo delicious. I ended up with the green when ripe striped antho variety below.
I'm growing it again this year and hope to get the same thing. Below are the two seedlings i have... and at least one is showing the antho on the under sides of the leaves (yay!). Ginny |

I love my tomato seedlings. Please oh please let the bugs and diseases, and weather be kind to my garden this season.

I labeled my tomato plants today to get them ready for transplant. I had the name writtennon the solo cup but wanted to get tags in so when i transplant I dont mix them up.
This is just some of the ones I started. I did a new batch that i havent posted any pictures of yet with lots of other new to me plants.. :-) Ginny Last edited by Fiishergurl; January 12, 2016 at 02:17 PM. |

Everything looks great and healthy. CT should have chartreuse foliage and be a dwarf, so it will be interesting to see how these develop.
